The man drove around barriers being used while police investigated a fatal crash on Route 15, nearly hitting first responders, according to police.

Edward Louis Willingham was identified as the driver of a Nissan Sentra, who was on Route 15 southbound around 3:45 p.m., state police said. When state police tried to make a traffic stop, Willingham refused and instead a pursuit began, according to police. It was unclear if Willingham was directly involved in the fatal crash or if he was among traffic waiting to get past the crash scene.
