ICYMI: 'Old enough to know better': Saskatoon man sentenced for luring young boy into sending nude photos
The 58-year-old had sent them nude photos of himself and convinced them to do the same, a Saskatoon provincial courtroom heard.
The 13-year-old boy told police Fredeen added him to Snapchat in January 2021, knew his age, and was “one of the older ones he talked to.” “This is a gentlemen who, despite having no criminal record, obviously is old enough to know better,” defence lawyer Brian Pfefferle said. “I am sorry for all the trouble that I have caused. I do want to take full responsibility as well as in my incarceration, receive any help and aid I can have,” Fredeen said in court.
