Sky News Host Chris Smith says former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull “puts the boot in” by suggesting the bushfire crisis has been “exacerbated” by Scott Morrison.

“The President of the miserable old ghost club” Malcolm Turnbull retweeted an article from the Financial Times which said the scale of the bushfires have been “exacerbated by a regrettable lack of leadership” from Scott Morrison.

Smith told Sky News the sentiments supported by Turnbull were “vindictive” and “foolish”, and said Turnbull demonstrated a “lack of leadership” during his 2016 election campaign. “I think old ghosts in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones”. Image: News Corp Australia
