Since Rebel Wilson's talk show interview about her awkward encounter with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made headlines, footage has resurfaced of the Australian comedian which could explain why the Duchess was not 'naturally warm' towards her.
The Pitch Perfect actress had a dig at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex when she hosted the BAFTA Film Awards in 2022.
"Our next package is for Outstanding British Film. From drama to horror to fantasy, Harry and Meghan's interview with Oprah had it all," Wilson said at the awards last year. Following her comments on the show, footage of Wilson cracking a joke about the Duke and Duchess at the BAFTA Film Awards last year resurfaced on social media. "Rebel Wilson, you seem like a smart girl. And hosting the BAFTA’s is a big deal and likely memorable as host," a Twitter user said.
