Video footage has resurfaced of Eddie McGuire calling for AFL players who breach COVID-19 protocols to be suspended for the season.

“This is the reason why the AFL are trying to show social leadership and do everything right along the way,” McGuire said. “Don’t anybody accuse Eddie McGuire of hypocrisy or he’s behaving like a world champion hypocrite at the moment,” Mitchell said.
