Witnesses said that the person who gave Wilde the envelope had CinemaCon credentials. CinemaCon is a trade show, closed to the public, and all attendees must register beforehand. In addition, to attend, one must be either a member in good standing of one of three movie industry professional organizations, be an industry affiliate—like members of the media, advertisers or publicity companies—or, finally, be eligible for membership in either of the three professional organizations but without an active membership.
"To protect the integrity of our studio partners and the talent, we will reevaluate our security protocols," CinemaCon head Mitch Neuhauser
