Olivier Boscagli admits PSV Eindhoven will have to produce a ‘perfect’ defensive performance if they are to shut out Rangers and clinch a Champions League berth.
The Dutch giants head into the second leg of the play-off round fixture as favourites to progress to the groupGoals from Abdallah Sima and Rabbi Matondo were not enough to secure a home win for Rangers as Michael Beale’s side were twice pegged back in an entertaining affair. Rangers converted a first leg stalemate into a famous win at this stage of the competition 12 months ago as they ended their long wait for a Champions League return.Boscagli is fighting to prove his fitness after being replaced in the closing stages last week and the defender knows Peter Bosz’s side cannot afford to give the Rangers attack any encouragement at the Philips Stadion.
Boscagli said: “We didn’t have a game at the weekend so that helped us to recover more. We have had a week to train and prepare so we will be ready.“I have talked with the coach and we will take no risk.
