Grace Brown, who won the Olympic, national and world time trial titles in her final year as a professional, has bowed out as a winner by claiming the Crono des Nations title in France in what is her last-ever race.
Grace Brown finished 51 seconds ahead of her FDJ-Suez teammate Vittoria Guazzini to win the final race of her professional career. After claiming her first world champions jersey in the time trial in Zurich, Brown was told she had to continue now that she was world champion. Brown may not continue next year, but at least she got one chance to complete in the rainbow bands of the world champion.
