A new survey shows almost three quarters of Australians are rethinking their travel plans due to the Omicron variant.

Of 1,500 respondents, half were worried by inconsistent border rules and around 60 per cent were not more concerned about Omicron compared to previous variants.

This Christmas, three quarters of people want to travel within their state, 20 per cent want to travel interstate and two per cent want to travel internationally.
