One Victorian council has placed signs warning about death cap mushrooms growing in a park, as the woman who served a fatal lunch that left three people dead vanished on Thursday.

Ms Patterson has been vocal about the media attention at her home in Leongatha, in Victoria's Gippsland region, since the death of her ex-husband's family members.

However, a representative from the law firm was waiting outside her address several hours later about 5pm, according to Daily Mail Australia. A close family source of her former husband Simon Patterson claimed his ex-lover tried to poison him when they were together. Picture: Supplied That source also suggested the attempted poisoning was through nightshade plants, which includes vegetables such as tomatoes, capsicums and eggplants.
