Additional cases going before the Fort Worth Zoning Commission include a 374-unit cottage community.
The project is divided into two sections. The first section, which would include the townhome development, will be called Innovation Villas. The property’s owner is listed as Crowley ISD, while the applicant is listed as Matrix Equities. Located on the 9400 block of Chapin Road, this proposed development would include 374 detached single-family and duplex homes. The homes will each have one or two units.
The development, called the Cottages at Marys Creek, lies on about 57 acres. The ownership is listed as Rowan Altgelt Laughlin Group, LTD, while the applicant is ONM Living. This property is up for annexation into Fort Worth early next year, and the owner is seeking a zoning change to allow for industrial development should the property clear annexation. The project is located at 18242 S FM 156 in north Fort Worth.
