Body of 27-year-old man found near shell casings.
OAKLAND — A 27-year-old man was killed in a shooting Saturday morning in East Oakland, authorities said.The shooting happened at 3:57 a.m. Saturday in the block of 3900 Keller Avenue near Fontaine Street, according to police.
Alerted by ShotSpotter technology, officers found the victim and several shell cases. The man was taken to a hospital where he later died. Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the shooter.
