As the Astros ace prepared to make his final regular-season start of a remarkable comeback campaign following Tommy John surgery, he was the subject of admiration among TBS baseball analysts on a conference call previewing the upcoming MLB playoffs. “Every time you try to analyze this, it gets you more confused,” said Martinez, a 2015 Hall of Fame inductee. “Because you’re not supposed to be this good, this powerful.
