A month after the Queensland-based party named Rebecca Lloyd as its candidate for Brisbane, she has been unanimously dumped for allegedly refusing to follow directions.

Former One Nation candidate Rebecca Lloyd in one of her Fair Business Australia videos.Last month the party named Rebecca Lloyd as its candidate for the marginal seat of Brisbane – held by moderate Liberal Trevor Evans – after she emerged as a figure in the push against vaccine mandates in the state last year.

“I think very strongly that Pauline probably doesn’t know about it. And she will stand up for me,” Lloyd said. Hanson’s office directed questions to the national party executive. In a video posted Friday morning, she suggested she had refused a request from the party to remove one of the videos. The website is registered under Lloyd and Fair Business Australia. Its “contact us” page says it is “proudly presented by Fair Business Australia”, which would donate half of the cost of a business listing – between $97 and $297 – “back into Join the Conversation”.
