'Enough is enough, local residents cannot tolerate this any further'
Wander around the city centre or suburban areas on most days and you will see egregious examples of vehicles left strewn across pavements, blocking the way for pedestrians to get past. This is a particular issue for people in wheelchairs or parents with prams trying to get past.
While selfish and dangerous pavement parking is problem all over the city, naturally the city centre is a particular hotspot. The campaigner, who messages under the pseudonym Walkers First, sent seven separate photographs of cars or vans parked on the area of pavement outside the station, in front of the NCP car park. The images were taken at different points throughout this year.
View gallery The campaigner added: "Having a wheelchair or push chair should not be made to feel second class. Driving up and down pavements is all fun and games until a pedestrian is killed or seriously injured."
