With wood-fired bagels, pizza and beer, Wild Barley Kitchen & Brewery has opened its brick-and-mortar location at Broadway near Loop 410.The popular San Antonio food truck Wild Barley Kitchen & Brewery has opened its highly anticipated brick-and-mortar restaurant on Broadway just inside Loop 410, specializing in wood-fired bagels and bagel sandwiches, pizza and beer.
Started as a pizza truck by Marc Fogelsong and Holland Lawrence in 2019, Wild Barley evolved into a destination for some of the city’s best bagels, capitalizing on the owners’ expertise with sourdough. Wild Barley ranked as one of San Antonio’s top 10 food trucks in the Express-News’For Fogelsong and Holland, the plan all along was to open a restaurant with the capacity to pursue their other craft: brewing beer.
The menu features wood-fired sourdough bagels, specialty bagel sandwiches and salads for breakfast and lunch, switching over to sourdough pizzas at 3 p.m.With wood-fired bagels, pizza and beer, Wild Barley Kitchen & Brewery has opened its brick-and-mortar location at Broadway near Loop 410.
