Under the Energy Bill Saver program, households will be eligible for the one-off payment if they check the Service NSW website to see if they are getting the best energy deal.READ MORE:
NSW premier Dominic Perrottet said families could soon slash $250 dollars off their power bill under a re-elected Liberals and Nationals government."We know households are feeling the pinch right now and that's why we will provide immediate bill relief as well as help families get a better energy deal," he said.
"This is $250 in short-term energy savings whilst at the same time ensuring NSW households can slash their bills into the future. "This is all part of the Liberal and Nationals long-term economic plan to support NSW families and keep our state moving forward."Under the NSW Energy Bill Saver program, households will be eligible for the one-off payment.The program is set to be rolled out by July and run until December 31.The comparison tool will be provided by Service NSW and households will still receive $250 off their energy bill even if they don't switch plans.
