One person was shot in the chest at the Washington, D.C., Metro Center during an officer-involved shooting, according to reports.
All trains were brought to a standstill following reports that shots were fired in the station. A Washington police officer confirmed to the Washington Examiner that one person was killed.

The Red Line is currently single-tracking due to police activity. The Orange, Silver, and Blue lines are operating normally.
