Police responded to 1100 W 27th St. on reports of a person down and found a victim with gunshot injuries, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana allows Indianapolis residents to share anonymous tips with law enforcement.One man was fatally shot on the northwest side Saturday morning, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. Police responded to 1100 W 27th St. just after 10 a.m. on reports of a person down inside the residence and found a victim with gunshot injuries.
Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services responded and transported the victim to a hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. IMPD homicide detectives are investigating. The Marion County Coroner’s Officer will release the victim's name once a proper next-of-kin notification has been made.
