One of the most "rocking" Spider-Man variants has finally done what the main Peter Parker never could: kill the Green Goblin and have absolutely zero remorse. The villain is widely known as Peter's nemesis for his many attempts to kill Spider-Man . But Spider-Punk #5 flips the narrative, and the resident Spider-Man murders Osborn with one of the most outlandish weapons a Spider-Man variant has ever had the honor to wield: an electric Spider-guitar.

He is usually portrayed as a teenager or young adult who prioritizes saving others over defeating the villain of the week - but he knows his anger can occasionally get the best of him.
Hobart "Hobie" Brown is Spider-Punk, the murderous Spider-Man in question - and this isn't even the first time he's kills Osborn . Spider-Punk comes from a dystopian world where Osborn has ruled as the President, but he also proves that Spider-Man's one rule is more for his own conscience than the greater good of anyone else. If Peter had killed the 616 Green Goblin, he could have saved dozens of lives - including the life of Gwen Stacy .
Spider-Man's one rule, in this respect, mirrors Batman's own no-kill rule. The Dark Knight wants to kill many of his enemies , but knows that one murder might lead to another and another until he becomes just as violent as his enemies. Even so, this Spider-Man variant's murder of the Green Goblin resulted in zero tears shed, and this development is perhaps for the best .
