Twelve months after the Hunter Valley bus crash claimed the lives of 10 people, affected communities and first responders are still coming to terms with the tragedy.
Hunter Valley communities are reflecting on 12 months since a bus crash claimed the lives of 10 people.guests from a wedding venue crashed at a roundabout near Greta, killing 10 and injuring 25 people.
Many first responders, including police officers and paramedics, were deeply affected after being among the first on scene. "As a leader you hold responsibility for their welfare and at the end of the day we delivered amazing care on the night, as tragic as it was," he said. "After the memorial service, we went back to the club at Singleton and I was quite fortunate to meet family of three of the deceased, and they came up and thanked us for what we had done."
