OneFour rapper Pio “YP” Misa has celebrated his release from jail with a champagne tower and new chain after two years behind bars following a violent bashing of another man.
Member of the OneFour rap group Pio “YP” Misa has rejoined his bandmates after a two-year-long stint in prison. He was jailed over several charges including reckless grievous bodily harm after a violent stoush at the Carousel Inn at Rooty Hill in 2018.
Misa pulled a chair leg out from under his clothes and hit one of the men, Anthony Hayward, twice in the back of the head. Mr Hayward backed away before Misa hit him for the third time. Tensions between the rap group and police were high during 2019 when NSW Police repeatedly shut down their shows.“It’s war against the feds right now – we tryna get outta the hood. These guys hate seeing us do well and it’s a shame but f**k what anyone thinks,” they wrote.
