Officers have been pictured guarding the scene of the incident this morning.
Police have taped off a Scots street amid an ongoing incident. Officers were called to Princes Street in Port Glasgow on Sunday morning.
The cordon currently surrounds one end of the road near to a railway bridge in the Inverclyde town. Police can be seen standing guard at the scene. The nature of the incident is currently unknown. Police Scotland said they could not provide any further details at this time. A spokesperson said: “Police are carrying out enquiries in relation to an ongoing investigation. No further details at this time.”
