Internet safety experts say scammers are 'highly skilled and professionally organised'

Those who shop online have been issued a warning over scams which can give off a "legitimate" appearance.

It comes as three in 10 people who shopped online have noticed an increase in fake websites and sellers, according to the website's survey of 2,000 people from across the UK. Additionally, 43 percent of online shoppers said they are seeking out special offers and deals more regularly amid the ongoing cost of living crisis.

"Many people still believe that fraud is easy to spot, and isn’t something that can happen to them, however amateur adverts and websites are becoming a thing of the past.
