Only Fools and Horses actor Patrick Murray has shared a positive update about his cancer battle, informing followers that he's now 'cured' of the condition.

Only Fools and Horses actor Patrick Murray has shared a positive update about hisThe 65-year-old, who is best known for playing wide-boy Mickey Pearce in the beloved sitcom, was diagnosed with lung cancer in July 2021 and underwent an operation in October to remove the tumour.Murray thanked his followers for their ‘lovely messages’ and explained his health status in several tweets on Sunday, writing: ‘During this chemo , another tumour was discovered in my liver.

TACE is a treatment for liver cancer that uses a combination of chemotherapy and an agent to block the blood vessels supplying the tumour .However, Murray then shared: ‘Last friday l saw my oncologist She told me the lung cancer was cured and that the tumour in my liver was shrinking [sic].’Murray hopes to attend the Only Fools and Horses convention next year ‘Thanks to the brilliant doctors and nurses of our NHS ,I will hopefully I be there ,at next years convention [sic].
