Planning rules for onshore wind farms set to be relaxed in response to the Ukraine crisis
Boris Johnson has ordered ministers to double rate at which new wind power is installed in UK as part of a push for renewable energy.
Whitehall source said the scale of the ambition – to be set out in a new energy security strategy next week – is too great to be met by offshore wind alone.
