” : A recent letter writer sarcastically asked if a Prius could tow his 6,500-pound boat. It can’t, but the all-electric Ford F-150 Lightning or Rivian R1T can do so with ease. The Lightning can tow 10,000 pounds, and the R1T can tow 11,000 pounds. And when not pulling a trailer, both will get the equivalent of over 65 miles per gallon, far superior to similar gasoline and diesel pickups and better than even a Prius. Yet both accelerate faster than most sports cars.
