” : It seems the problem with student loans is that for many people it is a never ending debt. The borrower pays and pays but never seems able to get ahead. Most understand that a loan is an obligation. But few understood or anticipated the ability of the lender to manipulate interest. It is not the loan itself that is the problem. It is the moving repayment target that changing interest creates. So the debt was taken. Pay the debt. But forgive the interest. It has proven to be predatory.
