Opinion: The indictment of Donald Trump has San Diego talking law and order [Opinion]

It is amusing to listen to the Donald Trump cultists argue that the indictment of the former president was engendered by President Joe Biden’s interference with the Department of Justice’s probe of alleged national security violations by Mr. Trump and his valet.

Many pundits agree that Biden’s best chance of achieving reelection depends on his opponent being the former president rather than one of the many credible Republican challengers. The twice-impeached and twice-indicted “has-been” president of our country continues to show his true colors. His lies and anti-democratic persona continue to put our country at risk.

He does not love our country, it’s people, our allies or anything but himself. His sense of entitlement and autocratic behavior is dangerous and those who support it are complicit in the undermining of our country’s values, which includes the rule of law. The lives sacrificed by those who fought for this democracy deserve better. Anyone that has a doubt, a brain and the ability to read will learn the truth if they take the time to study this indictment in full.

For example, what if documents in his possession warned of and addressed preventing terrorists or adversaries such as China or Russia using nature as weapons, such as destroying dams with consequential regional flooding or starting forest fires with resulting harmful widespread toxic air pollutants?Let’s see if I have this right. That airman who is “ accused” of sharing classified documents with his friends is denied bail and behind bars awaiting trial.

If I was that kid’s lawyer I’d advise him to run for president. Albeit, he doesn’t really have all the “qualifications “ of his opponent that half of this country wants in their next president.Three words to sum up the Trump indictment
