When it came down to testing the products, she relied on not only her trusted friends, family, and team members, but on members of the Ouai community, too. "I wanted to get really honest feedback in order to get the products just right, and thankfully, we have some really amazing people who helped us with that," says the 39-year-old founder. "They told us their thoughts on everything from the feel to the fragrance to how their skin felt after.
As for the Body Crème, Donahue is a huge fan of its rich-yet-non-greasy feel, as well as its luxe scent. "While it’s not overpowering, I feel like it lasts long enough that I can smell it on my skin for a while after, and so can anyone who gets pretty close to me," she explains. Finally, she appreciates that both formulas are free of nasty ingredients so she even feels safe using them on tattoos that are more freshly healed.
