The shadow health minister has issued a blistering attack on Anthony Albanese following the emergence of a COVID-related tweet from 2020 in the wake of his decision to cut pandemic payments.
In the tweet from August 2020, the then-opposition leader demanded the Morrison government establish the program.

Picture: NCA NewsWire / Gary Ramage He was joined by his Labor opponent Chris Minns, who appealed to the Federal Labor Government to re-instate the payment “for our health and economy”.
"We'll give consideration to all of these issues but we inherited these decisions, we also inherited a trillion dollars of debt," Mr Albanese told reporters in Suva, Fiji on Friday.
