Cumberland County attorney Megan Martin and Philadelphia Municipal Court Judge Matt Wolf are running for the vacant seat on the state Commonwealth Court, which is headquartered in the Pennsylvania Judicial Center in Harrisburg.
Wolf then referenced Pennsylvania billionaire Jeffrey Yass, a school voucher supporter who has dumped money into the campaigns of various GOP candidates at all levels. Yass, Wolf said, has donated more than $500,000 to independent expenditure efforts supporting Martin.“It’s one billionaire trying to tip the scales of this election,” said Wolf, who added that Yass “obviously” would expect “something in return for his help.”“I am not being bought by Jeffrey Yass.
Parliamentarians advise the Senate presiding officer and members on legislative rules and practices. “The constitution was always my North star,” she said.
