A western Pa. Democratic county official is claiming that 'right-wing cancel culture' was the reason that a billboard with a 'welcoming message' commissioned by the committee was taken down by the company.

A western Pennsylvania Democratic official is accusing an Ohio company of “bigotry and intolerance” after it took down the committee’s billboard offering a “welcoming message” to residents.

“I’m not sure in which universe the message on the billboard is objectionable,” said Pascal. “This is nothing more than right-wing cancel culture.” Pascal, an attorney, said there have been no reports filed with local police about death threats. “That was just another red herring and outright lie,” he said.

“Huntington Billboards is complicit in bigotry and intolerance,” Pascal said. “They have characterized a welcoming and positive message as objectionable and negative and displayed despicable complicity and cowardice in canceling their contract.”
