“I have faith in the people of Pennsylvania,” Rothman said. “I will continue to be a leader advocating for freedom, opportunity and civility in teh state Senate as I did in the House.”During his time in the House, Rothman sponsored legislation to bar Harrisburg from imposing a commuter tax on area workers. He also championed regulatory reform and permit transparency while opposing Gov. Tom Wolf’s proposed tax increases and COVID-19-related business closures and mandates.
