WILLIAMSPORT – The driver of the vehicle that struck a motorcycle in Williamsport in 2020, killing both riders, has pleaded guilty and been sentenced to state prison. According to the Morning News, the initiative helps connect school districts with resources that can help properly apply for the grant money. The money comes from the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act approved by Congress last year and the money can be used to pay for mental health programs, safety upgrades on campuses and other security programs for schools.
