He was drunk when he slapped Jacobs, causing her nose to bleed. “I saw red” when she said she was going to call the police.He wrapped her in a comforter, placed her body in a closet, when the weather got warm he moved it to a coal bin in a barn at the rear of the property and later to a storage facility in Williamsport.
He had told a state police investigator the two had been drinking heavily and arguing over losing their jobs and being unable to buy gifts for children.
