In all, about 1,400 guard members took part, with some activated for months at a time, and some activated multiple times. Thus the line from a National Guard news release saying the COVID-19 mission has ended “at least for the time being.”— Providing staffing support to 161 long-term care facilities totaling over 16,683 shifts.
