Liverpool's Paddy Pimblett will face American Bobby Green at UFC 304 on Saturday night
Paddy Pimblett says he is in the 'best shape of my life' and vowed to silence the haters when he faces Bobby Green at UFC 304 on Saturday night. The 29-year-old, who fights out of Liverpool's Next Generation Gym, will face Green in a three-round lightweight bout at Manchester's Co-op Arena as he aims to extend his winning streak in the UFC to six.
'Everyone is talking about this fight like it is a striker versus a grappling match, but it's not. I'm an all-round MMA fighter, and, to be honest, I think Bobby is. He's got very good grappling defence,' said Pimblett, speaking on his YouTube channel. 'But I'm going to shut a lot of you haters up with this performance. I'm in the best shape of my life. Not much weight to lose. I just can't wait to come and put this egomaniac in his place.
