Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk gives a guarantee next month's budget will contain a record spend on the state's ailing health sector, including money for 800 more hospital beds.

Ms Palaszczuk said next month's budget would have a "significant" increase in health spending from the past financial year, and more beds would be coming online in the next few years.

"We have work already happening on the expansion of Ipswich [hospital], on the expansion of Logan and Caboolture [hospitals]. The government said that funding would go towards a total investment of more than $1 billion in hospitals over the next decade, with the new facility expected to be built by 2024.
