This equates to roughly 25 million children missing out on one or more doses of basic vaccines in 2021 alone.Millions of children around the world have missed out on the essential vaccines during the pandemic.

"While a pandemic hangover was expected last year as a result of COVID-19 disruptions and lockdowns, what we are seeing now is a continued decline. Of the 25 million children, 18 million didn't receive a single dose of basic vaccines and the vast majority live in low and middle-income countries.
