A paralysed dog has made a 'miracle recovery' from a crippling health condition after his owner feared her pet would need to be put down
A paralysed dog has made a "miracle recovery" from a crippling health condition after his owner feared her pet would need to be put down.
Since then, Champ has made a remarkable recovery over the last five months thanks to the Gatehouse Veterinary Rehabilitation centre on Rouken Glen Road, Thornliebank. Simone has also thanked those who donated to the GoFundMe page that was set up to help her with costs for Champ's treatment. "Thanks to everyone that has kindly donated that we have been able to take Champ to the rehabilitation centre every week to receive Laser therapy, hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and acupuncture. He is doing amazing. I took him to the vets for his annual jab and they said they have never seen a recovery like that. He is able to walk and is running slightly, it is truly a miracle.
"The girls at the rehabilitation centre have called him the miracle dog. He has now gained so much strength that he is able to walk again and even sometimes run around the garden. Due to your kindness from the donations you have given, you have brought the joy back into our lives having our wee doggie back.
