A father of one of the girls pictured in the post told 9News he wanted the suspended students expelled.Other parents said they were “shocked” and “sad, very sad” over the incident. “We just need to suspend them while we continue to work out who did what and when - it's important to get our facts right,” he told ABC News Breakfast.In an interview with Nine's Today show, Federal Education Minister Jason Clare said he was thankful the male students were suspended.“It demonstrates that there is still a lot more work to do, it’s a job not just for schools, but for parents and political leaders like me as well.
