A couple have been fined for buying food for their baby during the Victoria lockdown - with one reason police weren’t impressed.
Police said the couple drove from Sale, more than 200 kilometres east of Melbourne, to the suburb of Dandenong in order to buy “specific vegetables that their baby liked”.Source:istock
Police noticed the car’s boot was full and told them they would call the hospital to confirm their reason. Of all the fines, 16 were issued for failing to wear a face covering when leaving home for one of the four approved reasons.
