Four months after their two sons were discovered dead in Mexico, the parents of the Perth brothers Jake and Callum Robinson, who were allegedly murdered during a surfing trip, have made a heart-wrenching admission.

The boys were on a holiday in Baja California, one of the country's most dangerous states which is home to Tijuana, Mexico's deadliest city. Local authorities believe the brothers attempted to fight back against robbers who were trying to steal their truck. Callum, 32, was a professional lacrosse player competing in the United States, while Jake, 31, was gearing up to begin his new job as a doctor in Geelong, Victoria.A GoFundMe fundraising page was set up for the Robinson family in the wake of the news to assist them with flights, accommodation, food and other essentials while they made the trek to Mexico to retrieve their children.
