The event will see 1000 tots receive a silver-coloured trinket and a certificate to mark the occasion
Ahead of the event, Lord Provost Jacqueline McLaren cuddled tiny North Glasgow tot Jorja MacGregor to promote the opening of online registration.
Proud parents Michelle Norval and Craig MacGregor joined the Lord Provost with two-week-old daughter, Jorja to publicise this special Christmas occasion. The popular event will see 1000 of Glasgow’s infants invited to a Baby’s First Christmas celebration where they will receive a silver-coloured trinket and a certificate to mark the occasion.
The first 250 tots registered by their proud families can look forward to having their picture taken with the Lord Provost in the City Chambers Banqueting Hall on Saturday, December 10.. It has attracted thousands of babies and their proud parents since it began back in 2005. It’s always a firm favourite with families.
The Lord Provost said: “Parents really look forward to Christmas with a new baby. I’m excited to meet our youngest citizens. It’s a truly magical occasion.”
