Fans have slammed Tyson Fury for his behaviour in At Home With The Furys but his wife Paris has rushed to his defence.
The mum-of-six has proudly spoken in the past of coming from a “long line of Scottish gypsies” and of how close she is to her Scots mum and dad, Lynda and Jimmy Mulroy.
The docuseries sees the family adapt after the heavyweight boxing star retires from his sport, then get used to him going back again. It also gives an intimate look at his mental health struggles and how they affect his loved ones. Paris wrote: "I sometimes wonder where I get all my strength from _ I’ve needed tons of it while living with Tyson, let’s face it - and I reckon it’s all down to my upbringing.
In the book, Paris reveals Lynda spent most of her early years touring America with her parents and seven siblings before she met Jimmy Mulroy - a fellow Scottish traveller who worked in the antiques trade - when her family returned to the UK in the late 1970s. The newlyweds moved from Newcastle, where they'd set up home, to Doncaster when they discovered they were expecting their first daughter Romain.
