After seven years of meeting and greeting guests, a popular canine ambassador of a luxury Melbourne hotel is finally retiring to enjoy the rest of his days by the ocean. Nine-year-old ex-guide dog Mr Walker has called the Park Hyatt home for most of his life.
Popular canine hotel ambassador retires following dedicated years-long service He was the hotel’s first-ever canine ambassador, enjoying endless pats from the many guests who walked through the doors of the hotel every day. The golden labrador has even befriended celebrities, including Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger. But, sadly for guests and staff at the Park Hyatt, Mr Walker’s working days have now come to an end.
