Anthony Albanese departs for India today, leading a major trade and business delegation.
The Prime Minister will arrive in Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat later today – where the fourth cricket test between Australia and India starts tomorrow. Upon his arrival Mr Albanese will attend a Holi celebration hosted by the local Governor and Chief Minister. The PM will attend a higher education event with senior representatives from Australian universities, on his first night in India.
Deakin University will use the occasion to announce they will be the first foreign university in the world to be approved to establish a branch campus in India.
