An investigation is underway after part of a human finger was found on the windscreen of a car in Sydney's southwest. 9News
Reports of an amputated finger reached paramedics and police at 3.30 am yesterday, prompting authorities to attend an apartment in Narwee.
An unknown man fled from the balcony of the property while officers were talking to the apartment's occupant, police allege.The man was unable to be located by police and a crime scene was established. Officers were then called to a second property in Riverwood, after part of a human finger was found on the windscreen of a parked car at 7.30 am.Officers forced entry into the property and located a 26-year-old man who was missing a part of his finger.
