A fundraising initiative from Partick Thistle fans has received a celebrity boost as players and top comedians have pledged support.

Rachel Donaldson, player at Partick Thistle Women’s FC, said:"As a squad we’re proud to support the Jags For Good energy fund. "Unfortunately, this winter is going to be tough for a lot of people and the work done by Jags For Good to fundraise for energy top ups for Glasgow North West Foodbank will provide a vital support to people within Maryhill and the North West of Glasgow.
All funds raised will be used by Glasgow North West Foodbank to provide energy top-ups to people on prepaid meters who are being pulled into poverty. Hosted by Thistle-supporting comedian Ray Bradshaw, the show will be held at The Stand Comedy Club on Sunday, October 9, with all proceeds going to the Jags for Good Energy Fund.
